Orion Astropreneur Space Academy

Orion Astropreneur Space Academy (Hong Kong), OASA, has been established to accelerate talents and start-ups to enrich opportunities throughout the world, starting from the international city of Hong Kong. We work closely with all universities, mindful employers, and help them establish STEAM programs where youths can learn how to build their own careers in the NewSpace era.

Event Details

Now that you have begun to embark on a journey of new customer discovery for your client, the first step is understanding why your new venture would have customers. Fully grasping their business model (and what is currently lacking in the model) must be the first step on your to-do list.

At the same time, most companies need to uncover their actual problems or where their real opportunities lie. Reframing is about looking at the big picture and thinking of the problem from different angles. It is not about finding the real problem but a better one to solve.

Is your problem the best one? Do you have the right tools to reframe your problem?

In this workshop, we will introduce you to how to carry out a high-level analysis without drilling down and getting lost in the details, and the powerful problem-solving tool that ensures we get to the right questions and address them properly.

Be sure to come to prepare and read your handouts and pre-reading before coming to the workshop. Just 10 minutes walk from MTR station at City One MTR Station, Exit D.

Date: 18 March 2023 (Saturday)

Time: 9:00am to 1:00pm

Location: Goldlion Office

7/F Goldlion Holdings Centre, 13-15 Yuen Shun Circuit, Siu Lek Yuen, Shatin

Who should build this?

One of your team members should build this and share this with the group before the first workshop. It's easy to use. Be as precise as possible with your diction. For example, don't just say "teenagers" for the customer segment when you mean "16 to 19 years old." Start from the right side of the Canvas, then move across and down until you have filled out all the boxes. There is no perfect Canvas; continual iterations will improve your diagnosis and understanding.

When is this required?

You are expected to create one for the team and share this with your client in your feedback meeting. This encourages sharing, confirmation, and mutual understanding. Have you scheduled your first meeting after your kickoff with our clients? If not, that meeting should take place immediately. In the first workshop, we will go deeper into the Business Canvas, but you must have done your homework first.

Yes, before we can begin healing the client, we need to know much more about our client.
