Former Airforce Pilot, one of the inaugural group of Chinese astronauts on the Shenzhou program

Zhao Chuandong is a renowned figure in the field of space exploration.
He served as a fighter pilot in the PLA Air Force for 16 years. In 1998, he became one of the first group of astronauts in China's Shenzhou program and took part in the training for manned space missions from Shenzhou 5 to Shenzhou 10.

Zhao pursued his higher education at Tsinghua University, specialising in Aerospace Engineering, where he obtained a Master's degree in Engineering.

Following his retirement from active duty in 2014, Zhao devoted himself to astronaut training, scientific research management, and public education initiatives focused on manned space exploration.

In recognition of his extensive knowledge and experience, Zhao was invited in 2023 to serve as an expert in the field of aerospace education and outreach. He continues to play a vital role in enhancing public understanding of China's aerospace achievements and advancements, generously sharing his expertise to inspire future generations.

原航天员及空军一级飞行员，中国载人航天工程首批航天员之一

趙傳東先生是航天探索領域的知名人物。他曾在中國解放軍空軍擔任戰鬥機飛行員長達16年，後來在1998年成為中國神舟計劃首批航天員之一，並參加了神舟五號至神舟十號載人航天任務相關訓練。

趙先生在清華大學攻讀航天工程專業，並獲得工程學碩士學位。

2014年退役後，趙先生致力於航天員培訓、科學研究管理以及關注載人航天探索的公共教育項目。

憑藉其豐富的知識和經驗，趙先生於2023年應邀成為航天教育與推廣領域的專家。他繼續在提升公眾對中國航天成就和進展的理解方面發揮重要作用，並慷慨分享自己的專業知識，鼓舞著未來的一代。

Gregg has been a futurist and disrupter, a serial entrepreneur and a coach to startups, an international professor of entrepreneurship, innovation, and corporate governance; a governance consultant to MNCs and family businesses, and most importantly, a developer and investor in young global systems leaders.

He is now an “Astropreneur” but continues to be a coach.
Many of his students and mentees are now leading global firms from McKinsey to Microsoft to Huawei. Having worked with, personally coached and mentored, high-flyers with global players such as Aon, American Express, Bain, Citibank, IBM, Protiviti, and PWC, he is now semi-retired and enjoys teaching at various universities on esoteric subjects like Space entrepreneurship. He is proud to say that a few of his hundred-plus mentees are now partners at leading consulting firms, global heads at MNCs, and founders of disruptive startups. They have been co-travellers on his journey of discovery; and many are now changing the world for the better.

Gregg is currently the founding director and President of the Orion Astropreneur Space Academy or OASA which is headquartered in Hong Kong. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at a dozen universities; and an advisor to a dozen think tanks. He is a Fellow of ICMCI, AAMA at PRD, and the Hong Kong Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology. Gregg is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, University of Hawaii, HKU, UCLA, Warwick University in the UK. He continues to learn and share with other hitchhikers of the galaxy.

李嘉樂博士

創星匯OASA 總裁兼執行董事及未來學家

李博士向來是一位未來學家及顛覆革新者。他同時是位經驗豐富的連續創業家(serial entrepreneur)、初創企業教練、太空創業教授，與及跨國公司和家族企業的治理顧問。最重要的，他是青年領袖的培育家和投資者。他是一位「太空經濟企業家」(Astropreneur)。李博士桃李滿門，他很多學生和學員正領導着麥肯錫，微軟和華為等全球頂尖企業。他退休前曾親自教授和指導怡安集團、美國運通、花旗銀行、IBM 和羅兵咸永道等國際知名企業中的成功人士；退休後仍繼續在不同大學執教及輔導，指導如太空經濟及創業等高深奧妙的科目。在他的過百學員中，有成為國際頂尖顧問公司合夥人，跨國企業的全球主管和初創企業的創辦人。他們和李博士同行，一起探索，一起改創經濟未來，讓明天會更美好。

李博士是創星匯（OASA）創會主席、現同時是香港大學太空科學碩士課程的客席教授，以及十多間智庫和大學的顧問。李博士畢業於美國聖路易斯華盛頓大學文科學院, 並持有夏威夷大學經濟碩士學位、加州大學洛杉磯分校工商管理碩士學位，以及英國華威大學工程學博士學位，及香港大學佛學研究碩士學位。

Professor Jin-Guang Teng assumed office as President of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) on 1 July 2019. Prior to his current appointment, Professor Teng was Vice-President and Dean of Graduate School of the Southern University of Science and Technology.

Professor Teng was born in Wenzhou, China. He received his BEng Degree from Zhejiang University in 1983. He pursued further study at the University of Sydney, Australia, and obtained his PhD degree in 1990. He spent about two years as a visiting PhD student and then researcher at The University of Edinburgh, the United Kingdom, from 1989 to 1991. From 1991 to 1994, he served as a Lecturer and then Senior Lecturer at the then James Cook University of North Queensland, Australia. He joined the then Hong Kong Polytechnic as a Lecturer in the Department of Civil and Structural Engineering in October 1994 and rose through the ranks to become Chair Professor in January 2005. He has served in various academic leadership roles at PolyU over the years, including as Associate Dean of Faculty of Construction and Land Use (2005 – 2006), Associate Vice President (2006 – 2010), Dean of Faculty of Construction and Land Use/Faculty of Construction and Environment (2007 – 2013), and Director of Research Institute for Sustainable Urban Development (2012 – 2018).

A well-accomplished and distinguished scholar in the field of structural engineering, Professor Teng has authored one book and over 200 SCI journal papers. His publications have been widely cited by researchers globally, and many of his research findings have been adopted in relevant design codes/guidelines in China, Australia, Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Professor Teng’s outstanding academic achievements have earned him numerous accolades, both locally and overseas. He was elected in 2017 as a Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which is the highest academic title in the field of science and technology in China. He was also elected as a Corresponding Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh in 2015, and a Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences in 2013. He won the State Natural Science Award of China (Second Class) in 2013 and the Distinguished Young Scholar Award from the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2004. At PolyU, Professor Teng was the recipient of The President’s Award for Excellent Performance/Achievement 2013/2014 in the category of Research and Scholarly Activities.

In addition, Professor Teng plays a significant role in promoting innovation and technology in Hong Kong and beyond. He is currently serving as the President of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences and as a Member of the Committee on Innovation, Technology and Industry Development of the Hong Kong SAR Government. He was also appointed as a Non-official Justice of the Peace in 2021 and a Member of the 14th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in 2023.

As Executive Chairman of Orion Astropreneur Space Academy or OASA, Perry Lam has a singular focus on preparing today’s youth for their future roles as leaders in the NewSpace economy.
Perry is the Founder of the LAM Institute (“LAM” stands for Leadership & Advanced Management), based in Hong Kong. He regularly works with top leaders of Fortune 500 Corporations, Governments and NGOs in heightening their leadership.

He regularly travels throughout Asia, Europe and North America to support the business requirements and talent development of his clients to maximise their ongoing success in the global marketplace. His clients are drawn from the Financial Services, Legal, Technology and Healthcare Industries as well as Family Offices.

Perry was previously responsible for developing leaders and sales professionals at the Xerox Corporation and DHL Worldwide Express, where he served as Regional Director, Sales in Asia. He initiated the DHL "Centre of Excellence and Leadership Center” which included establishing the DHL Internal Coaching and Training Curriculum in Asia which later established as the global standard and best in class. He has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines and the United States.

In his spare time, Perry works with NGOs like ICM, Asia Charity Services, ASEAN Inclusive Business Awards Conference as well as the curator and international speakers coach for TEDx Hong Kong and is a 2030SDGs Game Facilitator.

Duncan Chiu is a member of the Legislative Council (LegCo) representing the Technology and Innovation (T&I) Constituency, with a commitment to advancing technology and innovation in Hong Kong. Mr. Chiu is a staunch advocate of local technology and innovation policies, an accomplished tech entrepreneur, a seasoned investor and is widely recognised as a leading figure in the local T&I sector.

Mr. Chiu has worked diligently and with unwavering dedication towards uniting the industry and championing the interests of the general public while contributing to the long-term development of Hong Kong. He consistently provides valuable suggestions to the Government on technology development, economic policies and public health matters, many of which have been adopted and implemented by relevant authorities.

As a key contributor to Hong Kong's T&I development, Mr. Chiu holds the position of President of Hong Kong Information Technology Joint Council and serves as the Convenor of Innovate for Future, a think tank representing some of the region’s foremost start-ups. He also assumes the role of Chairman of HKTDC Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Services Advisory Committee, Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Department of Systems Engineering & Engineering Management of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Member of the Advisory Committee of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Mr. Chiu is highly engaged in the technology sector, with his involvement in over 100 technology companies and a wealth of experience as a seasoned professional investor. He actively contributes to industry knowledge by frequently participating as a speaker as forums, sharing his insights, and acting as a mentor to young entrepreneurs.

Additionally, Mr. Chiu is deeply committed to community affairs. He is a Member of the Hospital Authority, where he holds the Chairmanship of its Information Technology Services Committee. He also presides as Chairman of the Hospital Governing Committee of Tin Shui Wai Hospital, further underscoring his dedication to the welfare of the community.

邱達根先生是代表科技及創新界的立法會議員，致力於推動科技及創新事業。邱先生是本地科技和創新政策的堅定倡導者，一位傑出的科技企業家，經驗豐富的投資者，廣泛被譽為香港科技和創新領域的領先人物。

Prof. Hon. William Wong Kam-fai is currently serving as Associate Dean (External Affairs) of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor at the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management and Director of Centre for Innovation and Technology, CUHK. In 2020, he was elected a Fellow of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL).

Prof. Wong’s research interest primarily revolves around Chinese computing, database and information retrieval. He is recognised as one of the early researchers to explore natural language processing (NLP) for microblogs, such as Twitter and Wechat. His research has significantly influenced subsequent work in social media analysis. As a pioneer in the field, Prof. Wong has utilised various discourse integration techniques to identify contextual information in microblog repost trees. He has also proposed a novel summarisation system that effectively differentiates leader and follower messages on repost trees based on content-level structure information.

Aside from his academic endeavours, Prof. Wong actively engages in professional and public services. He holds several prominent positions, including being a Member of the 13th and 14th National Committee of the Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Member of the 7th Legislative Council of the HKSAR, an Advisor to Our Hong Kong Foundation, the Vice-Chairman of Hong Kong Professionals and Senior Executives Association, the Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Hong Kong Alliance of Technology and Innovation, Director of Finance Dispute Resolution Centre, an Executive Member of Council for the Promotion of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation, a Member of the Standing Committee of Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology, and an Advisor of Guangzhou Association for Science and Technology, among others.

In recognition of his contributions to IT development in Hong Kong, Prof. Wong was awarded the Medal of Honour (MH) by the HKSAR Government in 2011.

黃錦輝教授目前擔任香港中文大學工程學院副院長（外務）、系統工程與工程管理學系教授及創新與科技中心主任。他於2020年當選為計算語言學學會（ACL）的院士。

黃教授的研究主要集中在中文計算、數據庫和資訊檢索領域。他被認識為早期探索微博（如Twitter及微信）的自然語言處理（NLP）的研究者之一。他的研究對社交媒體分析領域的後續工作產生了重要影響。作為該領域的先驅，黃教授運用不同的話語整合技術來識別微博轉發樹中的語境信息，並提出了一種基於內容結構信息有效區分領導者和追隨者信息的新型總結系統。

黃教授積極參與專業和公共服務。他擔任多個重要職位，包括全國政協第十三屆及第十四屆委員、香港特區第7屆立法會議員、團結香港基金顧問、香港專業人士和高級行政人員協會副主席、香港科技創新聯盟副主席兼秘書長、金融爭議解決中心主任、廣東香港澳門合作推進會執行委員、深圳市科學技術協會常務委員、廣州市科學技術協會顧問等等。

為表揚黃教授對香港資訊科技發展的貢獻，黃教授於2011年獲香港特別行政區政府頒授榮譽勳章。

Ir. Eric Chan is the Chief Public Mission Officer of the Hong Kong Cyberport. Chan is in charge of the public mission operation at Cyberport, building the ecosystem of nurturing start-ups from inspiring the next generation, through nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit, to empowering global ambition, through comprehensive entrepreneurship programmes with funding and other value-added services.

Chan has over 30 years of experience in the ICT industry, a chartered engineer, a chartered marketer, and a Fellow of Institution of Engineering & Technology (UK). Prior to joining Cyberport, Chan held various senior positions in global ICT companies including Hutchison, PCCW, Cable & Wireless HKT etc.. Chan has been active in public services, especially in education and industrial training, professional bodies, and charitable organisations. Chan is the Chairman of Knowledge Management Development Center, Chairman of Industrial Training Advisory Committee (ICT Sector) and serves on a number of advisory committees under Education Bureau and Home Affairs Bureau. He also serves on advisory boards and mentorship programs at the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Education University of Hong Kong.

Chan holds a BSc. (Hon) degree in Engineering from University of London, an MBA in Finance from Manchester Business School and received Senior Executive Education from INSEAD (France) and IESE (Spain) business schools.

Dr. Lee George LAM is Co-Chairman of Hong Kong Aerospace Technology Group. He has held senior positions in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region, and is the immediate past Chairman of Cyberport.

Dr. LAM is a member of the Chief Executive's Policy Unit Expert Group, the Green Technology and Finance Development Committee, the Governance Committee of the Hong Kong Growth Portfolio and the Development Bureau Common Spatial Data Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government, Chair of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific Sustainable Business Network, Vice Chairman of Pacific Basin Economic Council, and a member of the Court of the City University of Hong Kong and the Belt and Road and Greater Bay Area Committee of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

A former member of the Hong Kong Bar, Dr. LAM is a Solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong. He is also a Hong Kong accounting advisory expert of the PRC Ministry of Finance, a member of the Consultative Committee on Guangdong-Hong Kong Co-operation (Guangzhou Nansha), and Chairman of the Permanent Commission on Economic and Financial Issues of the World Union of Small and Medium Enterprises.

In 2019, Dr. LAM was awarded a Bronze Bauhinia Star by the HKSAR Government and he was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 2022.

林博士於2019年獲香港特別行政區政府頒授銅紫荊星章及於2022年獲委任為太平紳士。

Mr. Yue-chun Chan is the Head of Spatial Data Office of Development Bureau, HKSAR Government. He possesses over 20 years professional experience covering engineering surveying, hydrographic surveying, cadastral surveying and geospatial data analysis/management.

Over the past few years, Mr. Chan has been actively involved in Smart City and Common Spatial Data Infrastructure (CSDI) development.

陳宇俊先生目前擔任香港政府發展局空間數據辦事處的總監。他從事專業測量工作逾20年，涵蓋範疇包括工程測量、海道測量、地籍測量和空間數據分析／管理。過去數年，他積極參與發展智慧城市和空間數據共享平台的工作。

Prof. Quentin Parker is currently Director of the Laboratory for Space Research of the Faculty of Science, HKU.

Prof. Parker obtained a PhD from the University of St. Andrews in 1986. Early in his career, he worked for many years at the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh, Anglo-Australian Observatory and the Institute for Astronomy at the University of Edinburgh. In April 2002, he joined the faculty at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, where he served as director of the Macquarie University Astronomy, Astrophysics and Astrophotonics Research Centre.

Prof. Parker joined the Faculty of Science at HKU in March 2015 to take up the headship of the Department of Physics. He served as Associate Dean (Global) of the Faculty of Science, HKU from 2017 to 2020.

Prof Parker’s research activities are mainly but not exclusively associated with Wide Field Astronomy (including serving as Principal investigator for the UK Schmidt Telescope H-alpha survey), large-scale redshift surveys, Galactic Archaeology, supernova remnants and especially Planetary Nebulae where he has discovered more PNe than anyone in history of the field. He leads the Hong-Kong/AAO/Strasbourg H-alpha PNe project. He has also extensive experience as an instrumentalist with multi-object fibre-optic spectrographs and narrow-band filters.

Prof. Parker has published more than 584 papers and articles of which 302 are refereed and has more than 21,000 citations and an h-index of 67. He has supervised a significant number of PhD, MSc and honours students to successful completion and is always keen to attract students.

Prof. Parker is interested in interdisciplinary studies, science pedagogy and Chinese cultural heritage, particularly ancient bronze artifacts.

He is a keen advocate of STEM education and the emergence of the NewSpace economy.

柏坤霆教授（Quentin A. PARKER）

柏坤霆教授目前擔任香港大學理學院太空研究實驗室的總監。

柏教授於1986年獲得聖安德魯斯大學博士學位。早年曾在愛丁堡皇家天文台、英澳天文台及愛丁堡大學天文研究所任職。後於2002年至2015年間在澳洲麥覺理大學任職，在該校的天文學、天體物理學和天體光子學研究中心擔任所長。彼同時為由麥覺理大學與澳洲天文台共同舉辦的課程擔任講師。

柏教授於2015年3月加入香港大學理學院，出任物理系系主任，並於2017年至2020年間出任香港大學理學院副院長（全球）。

柏教授的研究範疇包括廣域天文學（彼曾擔任Schmidt望遠鏡H-alpha調查的首席調查員）、大規模紅移調查、銀河考古學及超新星遺，尤其是行星狀星雲。經他發現的PNe比該領域上的任何人都多。他領導香港/AAO/斯特拉斯堡H-alpha PNe專案。作為儀器學家，他還擁有豐富的多物件光纖光譜儀和窄帶濾波器經驗

迄今为止，柏教授已發表584篇文章，其中302篇被經過同行評議，引用次數超過兩萬一千次，指數為67。有眾多名學生博士、碩士和榮譽學生在其指導之下完成學位。

Prof. Alan LAU is currently the President of the Technological and Higher Education Institute (THEi) in Hong Kong.

Prof. LAU joined the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU) as an assistant professor in 2002 and was promoted to full professorship in 2010. He was awarded the Young Scientist Award by the Hong Kong Institute of Science in 2002 and Young Engineer of the Year Award by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in 2004.

In 2014, Prof. LAU was appointed Associate Dean of Industrial Relations at the Faculty of Engineering at HKPU. In the same year, he was appointed as the Alex Wong Siu Wah Gigi Wong Fook Chi Endowed Professor in Product Design Engineering. He left HKPU in 2016 to join Swinburne University of Technology in Australia as the Pro Vice-Chancellor of research performance and development.

Prof. Lau has conducted research in the field of mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering and materials engineering. His work has been focused on aerospace composites, UAV, product design and engineering and bio-composites.

In addition to having a strong academic and research background, Prof. LAU actively engages in industry collaboration, working closely with the industry and professional bodies in Hong Kong as well as many universities both in the Mainland and abroad.

劉建德教授

香港高等教育科技學院校長

劉建德教授是香港科技及高等教育學院 (THEi) 的校長。

劉教授於2002年加入香港理工大學擔任助理教授，並於2010年晉陞為教授。他曾於2002年獲得香港科學學會頒授「青年科學家獎」，並於2004年獲香港工程師學會頒授「傑出青年工程師獎」。

2014年，劉教授被任命為香港理工大學工程學院產業關係副院長。同年，他獲委任為黃少華黃宓芝產品設計工程學教授。他於2016年離開香港理工大學，加入澳大利亞斯威本科技大學擔任研究成果和發展副校長。

劉教授的研究範疇包括機械工程、航天工程和材料工程。他的工作重點是航天複合材料、無人機、產品設計工程以及生物複合材料。

除了擁有強大的學術和研究背景外，劉教授積極參與業界合作，與香港的行業和專業組織以及中國內地和海外多間大學密切合作，為學院帶來創新和實務的學習平台，讓年輕一代充分發揮潛能，讓他們儘早獲得實踐機會和與行業各持分者互動，於畢業時已可將所學即時有效地應用於工作上，盡展所長。

Director at Oceanway Corporation Limited, Lecturer at Caritas Institute of Higher Education (HK), Advisor to the Apps Lab – City University of Hong Kong

Raised in a family of engineers, Paul was encouraged to build machines from an early age. His late preteen and adolescent years were spent in Thailand, Laos and Hong Kong. He returned to Australia for university and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Victoria University, Australia in 1983. He returned to Hong Kong in 1984 and worked in the telecom field in China until 1995. Paul learned all about ecology and marine science at HKU’s Swire Institute of Marine Science under the guidance and mentorship of the late Prof. Brian Morton. He then started the Oceanway Corporation, a Hong Kong based environmental engineering company, working in Asia on coral and other marine indicator species.

Paul combined the engineering and the marine disciplines as a Fellow at the City University of Hong Kong in 2000. He worked with, and under the guidance, of Prof. Robin Bradbeer (IEEE Senior Member) to introduce Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) training into the curriculum of Hong Kong’s secondary schools and universities in 2005. This programme become further refined and ROV competitions started in 2006. The workshops and challenges continue to this day. In 2019 the IEEE CTOES added the Young Engineer (YE) Secondary School Student Conferences.

In view of the success of these programmes, Paul feels that there is a need to further promote, encourage and develop the “Future Explorers” initiative, and learn more about what is out there in space.

成長在一個工程師家庭的Paul ，自小就受到啟發而愛上建造機器。Paul早年在泰國、老撾和香港生活，1983年於澳大利亞維多利亞大學畢業，獲得電機工程學位。由1984年回港至1995年爲止，他在國内參與電信行業的工作。Paul在香港大學太古海洋科學研究所在已故的Brian Morton教授的熏陶下學習有關生態學和海洋學的知識。然後，他創辦了Oceanway Corporation，一家總部位於香港的環境工程公司，在亞洲從事珊瑚及其他海洋生物的研究。

Kitty TANG Wing Kei is the Founder & CEO of Kolour Think Tank (KTT), an IT consulting firm that specialises in AI, IoT, and ESG solutions. She has over a decade of experience in the IT consulting sector, leading KTT to develop innovative and integrated solutions for various industries.

Some of KTT’s notable projects include smart kiosk solutions for fintech and environmental purposes, system integration and deployment, sustainable urban & farm development, and AI-driven detergent refill stations for a circular economy.

Beyond her role at KTT, Kitty is also passionate about education and technology. She is the founder of 60Pins, a STEM-focused brand that aims to bring cutting-edge technology to educational settings. One of her initiatives is the ASTRON SPACE LAB, an international competition of space technology. SPCS students from the previous cohort had been awarded one of the 10 winners from 700 teams from 23 countries. The topic is feasibility to grow algae in the ISS. They are the first team in Hong Kong to be awarded with Flight Status in the ISS.

Mr. Zhang Di is the founder of Beijing Huitou Beidou Joint Holding Co., Ltd and Quantutong. He is also the Deputy Secretary-General of the China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association, Chairman of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Vice President of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone Enterprise Association.

Under Mr. Zhang’s leadership, his team has successfully completed the key technology and application research for the National Key Research and Development Program "Information Network and Unmanned Service of Super Large City Rail Transit." He and his team have received numerous awards, including the Satellite Navigation and Positioning Technology Progress Award, the Beijing Beidou Space-Time Information Integration Application Typical Case Achievement Award, the Beidou Satellite Navigation Application Promotion Contribution Award, and the China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association Innovation Application Award.

Mr. Zhang serves as the expert on Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) for the science and technology association called "Science and Technology Innovation China. He is a promotor for the "Non-Exposed Space" PNT international academic forum and has organised and participated in the formulation of several industry standards in the non-exposed space PNT field. Mr. Zhang is also the overall designer of the "Dragon Map Constellation" project, a constellation of 100 LEO satellites, and he is a holder of a Guinness World Record.

張迪先生是北京匯投北斗聯合控股有限公司創始人、全圖通位置網絡有限公司創始人，中國衛星導航定位協會副秘書長、北京市經濟技術開發區工商聯主委、北京市經濟技術開發區企業協會副會長。張先生帶領團隊圓滿完成了國家重點研發計劃“超大城市軌道交通信息網絡與無人化服務關鍵技術與應用研究”，個人和團隊多次榮獲衛星導航定位科技進步獎、北京市北斗時空信息融合應用典型案例成果獎、北斗衛星導航應用推進貢獻獎、中國衛星導航定位協會創新應用獎。

Patrick Suen is the Founder & CEO of eurus.space, a start-up company focused on developing emerging space tech concepts and solutions with an emphasis on natural resources. He also founded insitu.one (formerly known as WATERIG), where he developed a Web3 framework to democratise access to renewable resources, including sustainable farming and clean water. He is confident that his work will revolutionise sustainability in human settlements and potentially extend to future interplanetary colonies.

Patrick has demonstrated unparalleled enthusiasm for exploring emerging technologies. As an early adopter of Bitcoin and blockchain technologies in 2013, he has led multiple crypto projects from conceptualisation to launch. He also has a long-running interest in space exploration, having dedicated years to the study of biological applications in space. Bridging interdisciplinary innovations remains his ultimate passion.

Patrick obtained his BSc in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University. He also holds an MSc in Business Economics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Since 2017, he has been a selected Solver volunteer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and serves as a panel review member for social impact projects. In 2019, the United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Climate Change and Environment recognised him as a Climate Innovator.

Patrick’s current work on space technology centres on prototyping an advanced water propulsion mechanism and conceptualising a lunar "Broadband" system. He is an active member of the global new space economy community and frequently participates in hackathons and other events held by NASA, ESA and CNSA. He is seeking both local and international collaboration opportunities, as well as early-stage venture funding.

Vincent Ah Chuen, age 79, is prominent entrepreneur and business leader in Mauritius. He is the Managing Director of ABC Group of Companies, ranked 22nd among the Top 100 Companies of Mauritius. He is also the chairman of ABC Motors Co. Ltd and Policy Investment Ltd, both listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius. He has been instrumental in advancing and diversifying the ABC Group, particularly within its Shipping Cluster.

Beyond his business endeavours, Mr. Ah Chuen is an innovator and pioneer in seaweed research and development. He founded S.W Bio Processors Ltd, the first company in Mauritius dedicated to this sector. His work on seaweed cultivation and processing earned him recognition with the best project in the Blue Economy category.

Mr. Ah Chuen’s commitment extends beyond business; he actively engages in various social, cultural, religious, and ecological associations dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and preserving the heritage of Mauritius. He is a member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce.

A sought-after speaker and mentor for young entrepreneurs, Mr. Ah Chuen has shared his insights at global conferences and graduation ceremonies. In 2019, he was a quest speaker at 2GHK conference on innovation and entrepreneurship in Hong Kong and also addressed graduating students at the University of Mauritius- Science Division.

Of Hakka origin, Mr. Ah Chuen is fluent in English, French and Hakka.

Dr. George Alexandru Tiliță (“Alex”) is CEO of 3DK Tech, a pioneering metal 3D-printing start-up . Born and raised in Bucharest, Romania, he studied non-conventional industrial manufacturing at Politehnica University of Bucharest, While pursuing his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, Alex gained valuable experience as a Senior Chat Sales Professional for a prominent telecom company operating in the US market.

In 2012, Alex embarked on a new journey by moving to Hong Kong to enroll in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). During his time at HKUST, he dedicated himself to his doctoral research, focusing on metal 3D printing for industrial applications. His team successfully developed a groundbreaking technology that significantly enhanced the efficiency and reliability of existing metal 3D printing processes in the market.

Motivated by their breakthrough, Alex and his friend Ahmed Benjellou co-founded 3DK Tech Limited in 2017. The company's mission revolves around the application of their patented USLM metal technology for 3D printing. Over the years, 3DK Tech has gained global recognition as a Deep Tech Pioneer, earning numerous accolades and distinctions in various competitions. Notably, they were awarded a Gold Medal with Congratulations from the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO).

During his time in Asia, Alex also made significant contributions outside of his entrepreneurial endeavors. He co-founded the first and only fraternity in the region, establishing a chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi, the oldest business fraternity worldwide. Additionally, he introduced a novel competition called Designathon, which addressed the limitations of traditional Hackathons.

Prof. Lisa C. Wan is the Acting Director and an Associate Professor of School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School. She is also the Co-Director of the Centre for Hospitality and Real Estate Research. Professor Wan has an impressive track record of high-quality teaching over the years. She was the recipient of the University Education Award 2021(General Faculty Members Category) and Vice-Chancellor’s Exemplary Teaching Award 2017 presented by CUHK, the Faculty Teaching Excellence Award 2017 and the Faculty Teaching Merit Award 2012-2017, 2018-22 presented by CUHK Business School.

Prof. Wan’s research interests include services marketing and service failure, consumer/tourist reactions to service robots and technologies, cross-cultural consumer behaviour, consumer/tourist green consumption, and space tourism. Her works has appeared in the top-tier marketing and hospitality journals, including Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of International Marketing, Annals of Tourism Research, Tourism Management, etc. In her talk, she will dissect Consumer Perceptions of Space Travel.

尹振英教授目前擔任香港中文大學商學院酒店及旅遊管理學院署理院長兼副教授，亦同時擔任酒店及房地產研究中心的聯席主任。尹教授多年來在教學方面表現卓越，她在2021年獲頒發博文教學獎（一般教學人員組別），及早在2017年獲大學頒發中大校長卓越（模範）教學獎。同年她獲商學院頒發傑出教學獎，並曾在2012年至2017年間及2018年至2022年間獲商學院頒發教學優異獎。

尹教授的研究興趣包括服務行銷與服務失誤、消費者/遊客對服務機器人和人工智能技術的反應、跨文化消費行為、消費者/遊客的綠色消費和太空旅遊。她的研究成果發表在頂級的市場營銷和酒店管理期刊，包括《消費者研究雜誌》、《國際營銷雜誌》、《旅遊研究年刊》、《旅遊管理》等。在她的演講中，她將深入探討消費者對太空旅行的認知。

Ms Emmanuelle Ta is currently the Chief Executive Officer of eBRAM.

With over 15 years of experience in international arbitration and case management, she has supervised hundreds of international arbitration cases in a wide range of jurisdictions and economic sectors.

From 2016 to 2021, Ms. Ta served as Counsel of the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration -- Asia Office based in Hong Kong, where she was responsible for managing the Asia Office team, including administration of Asia-related arbitration cases. She was appointed as Vice-President of the Asia Pacific Regional Arbitration Group (APRAG) from 2016 to 2019.

Prior to that, Ms. Ta worked as Deputy Counsel of the Secretariat of the ICC Court in Paris and was one of the founding members of the ICC Court Secretariat’s first overseas case management team based in Hong Kong (2008).

Ms. Ta holds a Master’s degree in International Business Law from the Panthéon-Sorbonne University in Paris, and a postgraduate degree in International Relations from the University of Marne-la-Valle (France). She is qualified to practice at the Paris bar.

Mr Anson Bailey joined KPMG in Hong Kong in 1999 and is currently a Partner based in the Hong Kong office heading up the Consumer & Retail Practice in the ASPAC region. C.K. SHUM is a Professor and Distinguished University Scholar in the Division of Geodetic Science within the School of Earth Sciences, at Ohio State University. He also holds affiliations with various institutes and centers at the university, such as the Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center, the Battelle Institute of Science, Engineering, and Public Policy, and the Sustainability Institute. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the International Association of Geodesy.
He has received numerous awards and honours, such as the 2012 Vening Meinesz Medal from the European Geosciences Union for his exceptional contributions to geodesy as applied to sea-level science. He played a pivotal role as a Lead Author in the 2007 Intergovernmental Panel for C.limate Change (IPCC) Working Group 1, contributing to the Fourth Assessment Report (AR4). His efforts, alongside over 1,000 scientists, led to the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize being awarded to the IPCC and Al Gore, Jr.

Prof. Shum’s extensive research interests encompass satellite geodesy and Earth Sciences, with a particular focus on sea-level and climate change, precision orbit determination, and gravity field modeling. These areas find practical applications in fields such as oceanography, hydrology, geodynamics, ice mass balance, GNSS meteorology, space physics, coastal vulnerability, disaster response, and water resources management. He is a recognized expert in utilizing geodetic observations from various satellite missions, including GNSS, satellite altimetry, satellite gravity, synthetic aperture radar interferometry, and satellite laser ranging.

Prog. Shum has authored over 350 papers in refereed journals and book chapters, amassing more than 20,000 citations. He holds a Hirsch (H-) index of 68, underscoring his substantial impact on the field of geodetic science.

Prof. Xiaoli Ding is a Chair Professor of the Department of Land Surveying and Geo-Informatics at PolyU. He is currently serving as Director of Research Institute for Land and Space, which was set up in 2021 to study major issues related to land and space development in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.

Before joining PolyU as Assistant Professor in 1996, Prof. Ding has served as a Lecturer at the School of Surveying and Land Information at Curtin University in Australia. He previously served as an Assistant Lecturer at the Northeastern University in Shenyang, China from 1983 to 1986.

Prof. Ding obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining Engineering from Central South University in China in 1983 and a Ph.D in Mining Engineering from The University of Sydney in Australia in 1993.

Prof. Ding’s main research interests are in satellite positioning and earth observation technologies such as GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) and InSAR (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar), geohazards, smart cities, and technologies and policies for land and space development.

Prof. Stephen W. Cheung is Honorary Chief Scientist of OASA.

Educated in the United States, Prof. Stephen W. Cheung began his career as a research scientist at a NASA funded Gravity Probe-B satellite programme at Stanford University. He later worked in two major medical device companies in Silicon Valley specialising in radiation therapy systems. He holds several US patents related to X-rays and is the author of two books on microwave technology.
Prof. Cheung has previously worked in Hong Kong for 10 years. He was General Manager of the Electronics Division at the Hong Kong Productivity Council and later served as Executive Vice President of a consumer electronics company.

Prof. Cheung has served as Adjunct Professor for a MSc. programme in Space Science at the Department of Physics at HKU from 2020 to 2023.

Dr. Meng Su is a renowned astrophysicist and entrepreneur who has made groundbreaking discoveries and contributions in the fields of cosmology, extragalactic astronomy, gamma-ray astrophysics and space exploration. He is an honorary associate professor in the Department of Physics and the executive director (ex-officio) of the Laboratory for Space Research at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), where he leads a team of researchers working on various topics, such as planetary science, space telescopes and experiments, dark matter, cosmic microwave background, Fermi bubbles, radio astronomy and fundamental physics.

Dr. Su received his bachelor’s degree in physics and astronomy from Peking University in 2007 and his Ph.D. in astrophysics from Harvard University in 2012. During his PhD, he discovered the Fermi Bubbles, two giant gamma-ray structures in the Milky Way.

From 2012 to 2016, he was a Pappalardo Fellow at MIT and a NASA Einstein Fellow, collaborating with Prof. Max Tegmark on various cutting edge research projects. He has published more than 100 papers in refereed journals and has been involved in several projects such as BICEP, Fermi-LAT, XMM-Newton, Suzaku, WMAP, Planck, and Jansky VLA.

Dr. Su is the recipient of the Bruno Rossi Prize, the highest achievement award in the field of high-energy astrophysics. He received this prize in 2014 for his remarkable discovery of the Fermi Bubbles. His research results have been selected as “Top Ten Physics Breakthroughs of the World” by the American Physical Society and “Top Ten Astronomical Breakthroughs of the
Year” by Astronomy Magazine.

David Chew is an aerospace professional from Malaysia with a career spanning over eight years of experience in Japan and Malaysia. He worked as a systems engineer with specialization in mechanical, electric Power, and propulsion systems, he resolves engineering design conflicts and manages project risk. He also participated in launch campaigns to have end-of-end satellite engineering experiences.
He is also a member of Space Generation Advisory Council participating and supporting several regional activities in Asia Pacific.

During his time at Microsoft, he led multiple projects in big data and AI/ML, co-creating innovative solutions to solve one-of-a-kind problems with customers. Chonkiat Lee is a Senior Researcher and Mechanical Lead at the Satellite Research Centre (SaRC) of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. He is in charge of the mechanical development of the microsatellite project, which aims to explore the applications of novel space technologies. He oversees the testing, transportation and integration for launch. Currently, he is developing a mechanical platform for a microsatellite to explore the applications of novel space technologies.

He has over 10 years of experience in the aerospace and automotive industries, where he worked as a Senior Engineer and Asia Mechanical Simulation Representative at Continental Automotive Singapore. He was involved in research and development in simulation technology.

He also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Newscastle University in Singapore, sharing his industry insights and standards.

He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from National University of Singapore and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from University of Science Malaysia (USM). He is the recipient of a Gold Medal issued by MEASAT Sdn Bhd Malaysia.

Dr. Po Chi Wu is an Investor in Human Capital. He is an active Advisor at SkyDeck, the incubator/accelerator program at UC Berkeley and advises several startups around the world. Paul Wang is the key coordinator for HKU’s entrepreneurial initiatives to facilitate research commercialisation and to build a vibrant entrepreneurship ecosystem. Before joining HKU, Paul played a pivotal role in driving entrepreneurship development at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for over nine years. He successfully built a dynamic entrepreneurship ecosystem during his tenure and nurtured more than 450 startups, including several unicorns, through coaching and mentoring. He also launched the university venture capital fund with a dozen of investments in early-stage tech start-ups and established valuable networks with stakeholders from the Chinese mainland and overseas.

Before transitioning to knowledge transfer, Paul had over 15 years of experience practising entrepreneurship as a co-founder and chief business developer in early-stage companies that were later listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx).

He holds an MBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a BEcon degree from Beijing International Studies University. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, with a research interest in research commercialisation gap funding.

Hamza Hameed is a Pakistani lawyer currently working as Senior Policy Manager for Satellite and Telecommunication at Access Partnership in Singapore. He provides support to governments and the private sector on legal, regulatory, and compliance-related matters in the space, satellite, and telecommunications industries. He is also serving as Chair of the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC).

Prior to this, Hamza worked as a a Legal Consultant at the Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) in Rome, Italy, where he focused his efforts on establishing an international system of secured transactions law for the space sector, as well as advising governments on Fintech issues.

Hamza holds an LLM from the International Institute for Air and Space Law at Leiden University. He teaches spacecraft financing at various universities and is a member of the International Institute for Space Law (IISL) and INSOL International

Dr. Maximilien Berthet is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at The University of Tokyo, Japan. His Ph.D. research related to small satellite mission design and simulation, with a focus on orbit-attitude dynamics.

Dr. Berthet is a Board Member of Asia Pacific Oceania Space Association (APOSA), which is working towards the development of a sustainable space community in the Asia Pacific Oceania region by providing simple continuous platforms to connect and discuss diverse topics and to forge a community of problem solvers.

In his talk, Dr. Berthet will explore the role of students and young professionals for building the space economy in Asia Pacific Oceania by sharing examples from APOSA and Japan, in view of considering potential pathways for space enthusiasts in Hong Kong.

Dr. Aurélie Trur graduated with a Ph.D. in public policy from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies in Tokyo, Japan, writing her dissertation on space sustainability and debris governance. Her research interests combine policy and governance of space activities, international cooperation, diplomacy, global governance, security, and sustainability issues affecting the future of humankind. She has been involved in international affairs for over 15 years in various capacities and across several continents.
Dr. Trur covered space diplomacy and strategy issues since 2004, starting with her master’s in space studies with the International Space University (ISU) and her master’s in international studies at Ecole des Hautes Etudes Internationales acquired in her native country, France. She started her career in the commercial space sector providing project management and policy consultancy to a leading satellite operator SES at their Brussels office, following policy analysis internships with George Washington University’s Space Policy Institute and with the United States Navy Department of Contemporary History.
Dr. Trur has been a member of the International Institute of Space Law (IISL) since 2016 and is a member of numerous space associations and committees, the latest being the scientific committee of Istanbul University’ annual space symposium. She occasionally participates in United Nations space governance initiatives such as regional capacity-building workshops and supports NGO-led space diplomacy initiatives as co-a signatory of open-letters in support of space sustainability and debris Non-Proliferation efforts. Prior to his entrepreneurial venture, Mr. Wong worked for McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, Citibank, and BNP Paribas.

Mr. Wong is a keen supporter for charitable causes. He donated the Chi Track to his alma mata Diocesan Boys’ School. He sponsored 260 students from both Diocesan Boys’ and Girls’ School to attend the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He endowed scholarships for United World College – USA and Pomona College. He sponsored the 2018 Asia Coastal Rowing Championship and 2019 World Coastal Rowing Champion held in Hong Kong. He is the Honorary Chairman for the Hong Kong Charity Association, Advisor to the Hong Kong-ASEAN Economic Cooperation Foundation, and a recipient for the 2022 World Outstanding Chinese Award. In addition, Mr Wong was the Founder and President of the Hong Kong political party Bauhinia Party.

'Event' means the Tomorrow's Technologies Today event held in Hong Kong on 20 October 2023 in respect of which we have the right to sell you the Event Tokens.

'Event Organiser' means Orion Astropreneur Space Academy (Hong Kong).

'Event Partner' means any party involved in the provision of the Event.

'Venue' means any facility or location of any nature where the Event is held.

The Event Organiser has appointed Maven Insights Limited to conduct all activities in relation to catering and access control in the Event. Maven Insights Limited has further appointed Vis Mobility Limited, an affiliated company under the same corporate umbrella as Maven Insights Limited, to provide the payment and access control systems in the Event. Collectively, Maven Insights Limited and Vis Mobility Limited will be referred to as "We" in the terms below.
Your purchase of Event Tokens is subject to and constitutes your agreement of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and other terms and conditions of an Event Partner or the Venue, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail in relation to Event Tokens.
Event Tokens can only be purchased online using Apple Pay or Google Pay. The maximum value of Event Tokens purchased in each transaction is HKD 500.
Subject to payment card verification and security checks, your Event Tokens are valid as soon as we have processed your payment and will expire immediately after the performance of the Event for which you purchased Event Tokens. Event Tokens will be cancelled if your payment has not passed the verification processes.
You may be required to enter a one-time password (provided by your credit card issuer) for authentication in order to complete the online purchase. You may sign up for this security service if your credit card company requires registering for this service. Please check with your credit card issuer for details if you encounter any issues in receiving the one-time password.
Once purchased, your Event Tokens will be linked to your Event ticket. You may show the QR code on your Event ticket at any designated food and beverage booth within the Venue to redeem your Event Tokens.
Event Tokens are only valid throughout the Event for redeeming food and beverage items only.
Event Tokens are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferrable.
Any screenshot or photocopy of the QR code for redeeming Event Tokens will not be accepted. Any such Event Tokens in question will be forfeited without any compensation.
Any Event Tokens obtained in breach of these Terms and Conditions shall be void and all rights conferred or evidenced by such Event Tokens shall be void.
We shall be entitled to assign any of our rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions provided that your rights are not adversely affected.
We may delegate or sub-contract any or all of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions to any of our service providers, provided that we remain responsible to you for the performance of our obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
If it is found by a competent court that any of these Terms and Conditions for any reason cannot be enforced, this shall not prevent the other provisions from continuing to apply.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
In the event of a dispute, we shall have the final decision.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
