Just a couple of years ago, it seemed that 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 was inevitable. Analysts, tech visionaries and even renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson predicted that space mining was going to be big business. But what do you know about space mining?

Mining for gold and valuable mineral is one of the hottest wild ideas that is being discussed and being put to the test. Earlier missions by Japan's Hayabusa had even returned samples from an asteroid. NASA's recent foray into hitting an asteroid and defecting it, named the DART mission, has actually changed the asteroid's motion in space.

Compulsory RAT testing:

• All event guests (3yo and above) are required to conduct a RAT test within 24 hours prior to arriving at the Club for your private dining event.
• Please prepare to show a photo of your negative RAT test with HKID Name, Date, and Time taken at the entrance of your event.
• The American Club reserves the right to turn away guests if they do not provide the above.

Guest Vaccination:

• Members and guests aged 16-64 must use the LHS app and present the QR code of their vaccination record (at least 3 jabs), medical exemption certificate, or recovery record for scanning at the Club's entrance.
• Effective September 30, everyone aged 5 or above will need a valid Vaccine Pass​ or their Vaccine QR codes to enter the Club, which includes all those attending classes, events, and children's birthday parties.
• Persons holding a Vaccine Pass with Red or Amber Codes will not be able to enter the Club. Persons under 'Return2HK/Come2HK' need to stay away from the Club for 3 days and can only use the Club from the 4th day of return. Our team will be actively checking your Vaccine Pass at the Club entrance and users for the pool, spa, and banquet premises.
• Reminder: For guests filling up the health declaration e-form​, they will only need to fill it up on event day and show it to my team upon arrival.

Quarantine & Isolation:

• If you've tested positive, you need to stay away from the Club.
• Following the government's requirements, you may use the Club if your RAT results are negative on the 6th and 7th days from testing positive.

Refund Policy

We understand from time to time you may want to request a refund. The following are some conditions that will facilitate our processing of your request:

1. Your registration will be confirmed once we have received your payment.
2. Cancellation requests must be made at least 4 days before the day of the event, otherwise no refund will be done.
3. For final cancellation, please make sure you have received a confirmation email from OASA.
4. For guests who brought ticket packages, if you wish to transfer your ticket to another SpaceBiz breakfast session, please request the transfer at least 3 days before the event and contact us. Transfers are valid for the sessions from now until December 2023.
5. All tickets sold through this special promotion must be used by 31 Dec 2023. They will become invalid after 31 Dec 2023. There will be no refund whatsoever.
6. No shows will be charged. Payments are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.
7. When Typhoon 8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted, all events will be rescheduled or cancelled.
