Roy Chan

Vice Chairman of OASA and Chair of Data/IT Stewardship Committee at OASA

Roy Chan is a highly experienced leader with over 20 years of experience in the tech industry. He has held senior positions at leading companies such as Microsoft, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Powa Technology. He is currently the CTO of Vis-mobility, where he is responsible for leading the company's technology and AI strategy and initiatives. He has a strong track record of success in leading and delivering AI-powered solutions that have had a significant impact on businesses.

During his time at Microsoft, he led multiple projects in big data and AI/ML, co-creating innovative solutions to solve one-of-a-kind problems with customers. These solutions included quality assurance using computer vision in the machinery manufacturing industry, edge devices to create inclusive working experiences, and more.

Roy is passionate about sharing his knowledge and expertise with others. He is a frequent speaker and workshop facilitator on AI topics. He has also spoken and hosted workshops on AI topics in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, where he has spoken to audiences of executives and other business leaders about the benefits of AI and how it can be used to improve their businesses.
